Skratch Attach products are built differently from mass-market gear. Here is everything worth knowing before you order, so what arrives is exactly what you expect.
Hand-Made to Order
Every tonearm is hand-assembled and tested by one person, built for your order rather than pulled off a shelf. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks from order confirmation to shipment. During busy periods this can extend to 4 to 6 weeks. You will receive a build status update by email after ordering.
3D Printed and Built to Last
Structural parts are 3D printed in-house on industrial-grade machines using high-quality bio-plastic, then hand-finished and tested before they ship. They are rigid, road-ready, and built to hold up to hard scratching gig after gig.
Because each part is printed and finished by hand, you may notice fine layer lines or small cosmetic variations from one piece to the next. This is normal for 3D printed parts and does not affect strength or performance. Every part is inspected and tested before it ships.
The bio-plastic is also biodegradable and recyclable, so it is heat sensitive. Keep it out of direct sunlight and high temperatures, just like your vinyl.
Setup Is Required
Skratch Attach is a performance instrument, not a plug-and-play accessory. To get vinyl playback working you will mount the tonearms to your controller and fit your own cartridge, then dial in tracking force. We provide instructional videos to walk you through every step.
- Cables and cartridges are not included. You supply your own cartridge.
- The X10 does not accept other headshells or Concorde-style needles.
- Mounting to a Rane One is tool-free and adhesive-free with our Skratch-More Mounts. Without mounts you will need adhesive to attach the tonearms.
Check Compatibility First
This is a universal device but has only been tested on select controllers. Confirm your controller is on the compatibility list before purchasing.
Ordering for the Hercules T7 also requires an audio interface and a laptop running our T7-specific software. Our companion app currently supports the Rane One and Hercules T7, with more devices in the works.
Strong Magnets
The mounting system uses strong permanent magnets. Please read the Safety Guide before use, especially if you or anyone nearby has a pacemaker or other implanted medical device.
Repairs and Returns
Every part is designed to be easily replaceable. If anything ever goes wrong, we will repair it or send a replacement part at no charge and you cover shipping. If you do need to return an order, see our Refund Policy for the full details.
